CMM is part of the WGT Group of companies, which was established in 1977. One of the first conference and incentive houses outside London, the company was founded on the concept that corporate entities had a requirement to communicate with their customers, their suppliers and with their employees. The group grew and diversified into separate business units with a greater range of services and a broader geographical focus. The WGT Group of companies now has a turnover of £13 million and is made up of CMM, WGT Sport (provider of travel services to sports bodies) and Specialist Travel (retail branches).

This year CMM will organise over 100 events for over 30 different clients, using 40 years of successful trading within the industry. CMM has become one of the top 15 conference and incentive agencies in the UK as a result of its high retention of clients.
